Get Paid for Website Usability Testing

Thousands of people around the world are looking for ways to earn money from home outside of their normal 9 to 5 job. One of the increasingly popular ways to do this is via participating in paid surveys or website usability testing.

For those looking to get more bang for their buck and potentially paid a higher hourly rate, website usability testing may be the option for you.

A website usability test requires a participant (i.e. – you, working from home) to join a study and complete a series of tasks (such as find the contact page on a website) and then answer questions to give feedback on the website.

Often the website usability tests (AKA UX or user experience testing) require the participant to give permission to have their screen recorded, and sometimes allow access to their microphone and webcam during the study. This may concern some participants, however, you should not be concerned as long as you trust the company running the studies. The access to your screen, webcam and microphone on last for the duration of the study.

The reason why screen recording, webcam and microphone access is requested is so that the user experience researcher can see exactly what you are doing and hear what you say as you progress through the study. This gives crucial insights which would otherwise be missed.

When microphone access is requested by a study, the instructions will normally direct you to ‘think aloud’. What this essentially means is talking through your thoughts, actions and rationale as you navigate a website. The more you talk, the better.

As one of the longest running and most trusted companies in the user experience website testing industry we are now taking applications from home workers to join our website testing panel.

Loop11 aim to:

  • Pay above average rates to testers for high quality website testing
  • Provide frequent opportunities to proven workers
  • Pay bonuses to consistently high quality workers

What this means is if you are willing to put your best foot forward, and not speed through the tests, while providing constructive comments via your ‘thinking aloud’ then there is some good money to be made.

To join this panel, you need to pass an initial five-minute test which replicates a standard website usability study. This is Loop11’s way of checking to see if you meet our high standards.

If you meet their standards, then we’ll be in touch with the next steps. To join the website testing panel, go to https://www.loop11.com/get-paid-to-test-websites/
